Living Faithfully in the Presence of God

What does it look like to follow Jesus faithfully in the world where we live?
Throughout Scripture, God’s people often found themselves living in places that did not share their faith, values, or allegiance. Daniel lived and served in Babylon. Jeremiah encouraged God’s people to seek the good of the city where they had been sent. Jesus announced the kingdom of God and showed his followers a different way to live. Peter later described Christians as “foreigners and exiles” (1 Peter 2:11, NIV).
The Road of Exile explores how God’s people can live faithfully to King Jesus where we are. We are called to love our neighbors, seek the good of the places where we live, and bear witness to God’s kingdom while waiting in hopeful expectation.
