01: Into The Wilderness

In this opening lesson of our new series, The Wilderness: Where God Forms His People, we explore one of the Bible’s most repeated and profound metaphors, the wilderness. Far more than a desolate landscape, the wilderness is where God leads His people, not to punish, but to form, teach, and reveal Himself.

From Israel's long detour after the Exodus, to Jesus’ forty days of testing, the wilderness is a place of transformation. It's where the illusions of control are stripped away, and where dependence on God deepens.
